Counting Down Until Spring Break
We'll be busy, busy to get things cleared up before Spring Break. We have a Science test, Simple Machines/Force/Motion, on Friday. A studyguide was sent home Monday so students can begin studying. Each day more information will be sent home to help with studying. The "Rube Goldberg" simple task drawings are soooooo GREAT!!! I love looking at each and everyone of them. Some great ideas!!! Math will be wrapped up next week with a Unit 11 test on Tuesday. Don't forget the Homework Bag is due Friday along with Unit 4 Spelling test. Keep reading!!!

Unit 3 Wrap Out & Wrap Up
This week will be devoted to activities that will complete our Unit 3 Reading Street theme "How people and nature are connected." Students will be making brochures to compare and contrast features in nature or write a letter from an animal or nature to someone. We will be working in small groups to cooperate and make a volcano. Our plan is to have our volcanoes erupt on Friday!! Hopefully our Kindergarten Reading Buddies will join us to watch our volcanoes blow!! Our Unit 8 Math test is scheduled for Thursday. Science will be devoted to motion, force and simple machines. We LOVE the warm weather that allows us to play in nature.
