Another beautiful fall weekend but where did the month of October go???? I enjoyed all the hardwork our PTA did for last week's Red Ribbon Celebration. On Wednesday, November 2, we will have the Unit 3 Math test. Studyguides will be coming home Monday and Tuesday. Our Reading Street story is one of my favorites, I Wanna Iguana. It is a story about a boy who tries to persuade his mother to let him have a pet iguana. We will be writing a persuasive letter to our parents this week. I know you'll enjoy reading them.
Our spelling words all will end in -le.
handle, trouble, simple, people, middle, table, little, gentle, poodle, pickle, noodle, saddle, juggle, uncle, riddle.
Until next week.

What a beautiful weekend we had. I enjoyed spending time outside when I should have been inside cleaning my house. Oh well, I can clean my house anytime!!
Our Reading Street series schedules Week 6 as a review week so we will not have a Spelling test this week. We will be reading informational texts on Spiders. We will learn how to organize the information and how to write a report.
Our schedule buying day for Book Fair is tomorrow Monday, October 17. If you would like your child to buy books, please send the money in an envelope or baggy with their name on the front. Also, don't forget that there is NO SCHOOL Friday, October 21.
